About
From its initial inception, Bravebird was the brainchild of co-founders and life partners, Alejandro and Noel Miranda. This visionary duo embarked on their cinematic journey with the ambition of bringing their first short film, Fantasy In D Minor, to the screen. The film not only marked the beginning of their venture but also set a precedent for their future successes. Garnering acclaim and opening premieres at prestigious film festivals such as the Oxford International Film Festival, the Cannes Short Film Corner, and the San Luis Obispo International Film Festival, Fantasy In D Minor was just the beginning.
Inspired by their initial success, Bravebird transcended its original scope, blossoming into an award-winning, indigenous-led creative agency. Under the guidance and vision of Alejandro Miranda, who channels his rich Huichol and Taíno heritage into his work, Bravebird has carved a unique niche. The agency is committed to weaving authentic storytelling through a Native lens, offering perspectives steeped in ancestral wisdom and contemporary relevance.
Alejandro and Noel's journey from the modest outset of producing a single short film to leading an acclaimed creative agency exemplifies their dedication to cultural storytelling and innovation. Bravebird stands as a testament to their belief in the transformative power of film and media, representing not just stories, but stories told through an authentic, indigenous perspective that reverberates with audiences globally.
Bravebird is a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE Certified) in the great state of Wisconsin and ASC (American Society of Cinematographers) trained.
